Springplace Revival Update

17 03 2009

We enjoyed revival services with Bro. and Sis. Washburn at the Springplace church in Cleveland during March 4th-8th.  It was nice to see familiar, friendly faces in the congregation, and to feel so welcome.

Our services were intense as we took our relationships with God seriously and became honest with God and ourselves.  Our altar times were powerful, and Friday night, in particular, was one to remember.

Before we arrived, the church had been fasting and praying.  Thank you to the church for taking the services and your desire for revival seriously.

Huntingdon Revival Update

17 03 2009

It was a pleasure to spend February 27 – March 1 with Bro. and Sis. Gordon and the congregation at our church in Huntingdon. The area pastors were supportive by attending the Friday evening service and providing the service with special singing.

The Lord blessed during each of the altar times, as He always does when His children come to Him in prayer.  We were also blessed when the icy weather held off long enough for us to finish up Sunday services, because I felt like God spoke to the congregation on Sunday night and and revival was birthed in the hearts of those at the church.

God’s Saving Grace on Display at Empowered

26 02 2009

Pastor Mike Jennette of Empowered Ministries had his congregation well-prepared and expecting the blessings of God when our revival services began Sunday morning.

During the course of the week, we witnessed the saving grace of Jesus Christ when five individuals gave their lives to Christ for the first time and one rededicated his life.  We also experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit in a mighty way, when one received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  There were also others who made the decision to step out in faith and acknowledge their calling into the ministry.  Each night, the altar was full of people praying and receiving victory over numerous situations.

Please help me pray for Bro. and Sis. Jennette and the Empowered Ministries Church. The church is growing and has an exciting vision for the ministry in Dickson. I am excited to hear the testimonies of what God will do in the months to come.

Also, please pray for us as we minister to our churches across the state of Tennessee. The upcoming months are filled with revivals, and the next one is at the Huntingdon church, beginning Friday, February 27th.

Columbia Experiencing Revival

13 02 2009

What a wonderful week of revival services in Columbia as our passion and fire for God was rekindled. The week was power-packed from the beginning, when four individuals gave their lives to Jesus Christ on Sunday morning. On Tuesday night, God spoke a divine word to the men of the church about answering the call and responsibilities of leadership. The men gathered together arm in arm in the altar praying, and the Spirit of God moved in an incredible way. It was a wonderful experience; God did an awesome work that night, and the seeds that were sewn in the men will sprout in victory in the weeks and months to come. Our services ended on Wednesday night – a night of victory. Sometimes you just have to put Satan in his place, and that is what we did that night. Once again, the altars were full, and following the altar time, seven individuals were baptized in water. All I can say is PRAISE THE LORD!!! It was a great week of victory and revival. Please help me pray for our Columbia church and for Bro. and Sis. Clements as they lead this church toward reaching their community.

Also, please pray for us as we minister to our churches across the state of Tennessee. The upcoming months are filled with revivals, and the next one is at Empowered Ministries church in Dickson, beginning Sunday, February 22nd.

Four Saved in Columbia

9 02 2009

pray2Sunday morning we started revival in Columbia, and God really blessed. Four individuals decided they were tired of living a life without purpose, and during the altar call, they stepped out in faith and trusted the Lord when they called on Him to forgive them of their sins and to be the Savior of their lives. God is so good, and we are celebrating what God did on day one of our time in Columbia.

Bethel Springs/Curtis Hill Revival Update

6 02 2009

This week I had the opportunity to minister to our Curtis Hill and Bethel Springs churches during a joint revival. It was wonderful getting to know Pastor Richie Horner (Curtis Hill) and his family, and Pastor James Lawson (Bethel Springs) and his wife.

The Lord was so good to us during our time together. Each service seemed to take us deeper in our commitment to serving our Lord. During each service, the Lord had a fresh, relevant, and challenging word for His people. Night after night, the church refused to let things get in the way of their blessing. The altars were filled with men and women crying out before the Lord for the blessings of God. Both churches found themselves excited, yet broken and burdened for their families, friends, neighbors, and community. God’s people became more and more sensitive to his leading and his calling with each night that passed. I’m excited about what God did and what He is going to continue to do at Curtis Hill and Bethel Springs. I’m praying to hear testimonies of lives being changed in the coming months. Please help me pray for both churches and pastors.

Also, please pray for us as we minister to our churches across the state of Tennessee. The upcoming months are filled with revivals, and the next one is at our Columbia church, beginning this Sunday. If you are a pastor and would like to schedule revival services you can contact me by email at pastortimfarmer@hotmail.com or by phone at 931-200-1548.

January Update

22 01 2009

During the month of January, I have been pleased to preach on Sunday mornings at the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy as they await the arrival of a new pastor.  Sunday evenings have been spent traveling the state to take part in regional leadership meetings.  These services have afforded me the opportunity to meet many of the state’s pastors and schedule revivals for the upcoming months.

We are happy to see our schedule filling up as our ministry becomes more visible and we are blessed by God opening new doors.  From the first of February to the end of May my calendar is filled with revival dates.  In fact, there are only two dates still available during those months.  My wife and I are so excited about these revivals – we are hungry to see God’s mighty move in our churches.

If you are a pastor and are interested in us visiting your church, please contact us.  We are already beginning to schedule summer and fall dates, and we would love the opportunity to minister to your congregation.

Happy New Year!

2 01 2009

Happy New Year! It’s hard to believe another year has past, and we now enter 2009. For my family, the biggest change in 2008 was moving out of pastoring to return to evangelism, and we are so proud and happy to be serving Tennessee in this position. In the short time we have served the state during this past year, we have already seen many saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and healed by our Lord.

I am excited about what the new year holds for our ministry. My attitude for 2009 is that the past is the past, and we aren’t promised the future, so today is the day that matters.  Now is the time to be more connected to the Savior than ever before.  This year is the year for victory.  As David said, “This is the day that the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)

God wants great and mighty things for His people, and just as the Israelites possessed the promised land, I’m ready to possess the blessings of God in 2009.

God bless you in this new year!

Wow! God is Really Blessing in Ridgely

8 12 2008

05_52_4_thumbLast night, we closed out our revival services at the Ridgely Church of God of Prophecy. It was such a blessing to be able to minister the word of God. The congregation at Ridgely was excited to worship Him and to grow closer to Him, and it was very refreshing to see Christians with a desire for a move of God.

Each service was filled with excitement and a powerful anointing. When the altars were open, people flooded to seek God. It was uplifting to see people both burdened for their own soul and crying as they prayed for others. Those arriving at the altar were almost always met by others ready to pray with them.

I praise the Lord for all He did this weekend. The weekend was capped off with a total of four individuals giving their hearts to Christ and at least four other individuals testifying that God had most definitely healed their bodies. I am so excited for the Ridgely Church of God of Prophecy and Pastor Clayton Mahan. God is doing something very special in their church, and He is working through them as they reach out to their community. I thank Bro. and Sis. Mahan for their hospitality this weekend, and I thank each member of their congregation for allowing me to minister the word of God. Please help me pray that God will continue to bless this church.

Revival: Ridgely, TN

3 12 2008

revival1Hopefully everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving. My family and I have a lot for which to be thankful. We spent the last week with my mother and father who flew in from Wyoming. It was a treat to have the entire family together.

This weekend I will be ministering in Revival/Youth Revival services in Ridgely, TN at the Ridgely Church of God Prophecy. I look forward to being in service with Pastor Clayton Mahan and his growing congregation. We are expecting revival to break loose, and to see souls changed by the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Pray for us as we minister.
